Natalie and her partner Ian have worked for British Airways for over 30 years in well-respected positions. Incredibly trustworthy, reliable, honest and very caring, they have always had a great passion for cats. The pair of them have a passion for exploring different countries and have travelled the globe caring and rescuing cats.

About The Owners

It has been a lifetime dream for Natalie and Ian to have their own first-class cattery, so when it came to designing The Willows, they spent a considerable amount of time planning and researching to make sure their cattery was perfect.


Rest assured, Natalie and Ian will look after your cats as if they were their own family, with the little extras that make all the difference, like treats at Christmas and Easter. The Willows provides a clean, friendly and stimulating environment for any feline visitor.

Individual Attention

It is only natural to worry about your cats as we know all cats are different and their needs are not all the same. We will listen to any concerns or requests you may have and make sure your cats have all the attention and care they need. Every cat is treated as an individual and will get his or her own loving and personal attention, ensuring that their stay with us is as happy as possible. All cats are treated with top brand quality food, kittens to older cats, and those with specific or special dietary requirements are also catered for. Bedding and toys are provided, but if your cat(s) has its own bed or bedding and toys, please feel free to bring them as familiarity will help your cat(s) to settle.

Taking Care Of Your Best Friend

The cattery provides luxury double cabins, and all are heated in the colder months and in the warmer months, we provide cooling mats to keep your cats nice and chilled. Every cabin is large enough to accommodate your cat’s toys and own bed if required. To check if your required dates are available, use the button below.

Drop Off & Collections Are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY inside our opening times. Out-of-hours appointments can be accommodated, but an additional charge will be applicable and agreed prior to drop-off or collection.

Please note we can provide a collection & drop-home service (charged at £3 per mile – minimum £15)

THE PRICES BELOW ARE EFFECTIVE FROM 1ST JANUARY 2023

All prices include food, heating (winter), cooling mats (summer), cosy beds, litter, scratch pads, entertainment toys, background music, VAT and of course lots of cuddles.

We will only place cats from the same family to share accommodation in our lodges. Each of our lodges are ‘doubles’ which means we can accommodate two of your cats very comfortably. If you require us to board three of your cats, we will open up another double lodge to accommodate your requirements. A fourth cat will share this second lodge. NOTE: A booking form MUST be completed ASAP after you receive our confirmation and submitted to us in order to secure your reservation. Failure to complete and submit a booking form will mean that there is no reservation for your fur baby.

+ Is There A Minimum Stay Policy?

We operate a 'minimum stay' charge policy of 5-days throughout the year. Additionally, there is a 7-day minimum stay for the months of June, July, August and December (apart from Christmas/New Year period, where there is a minimum boarding charge of 2 weeks required).

+ What Are Your Opening Times?

+ What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

1. Cancellation of the full booking within 7 days of the commencement of the booking will result in the full boarding fees being due for payment.

2. Cancellation of the full booking within 7-28 days of the commencement of the booking will result in 50% of the full boarding fees being due for payment.

3. In the event of owners returning before the end of the boarding period booked, the full period booked will be charged. There are no discounts or refunds for early collections. The dates that were originally booked and confirmed are deemed the charging period, and there are no refunds provided for early collection of your cat (s).


+ Boarding Fees - Deposit & Payment Schedules?

Boarding accounts must be settled on the arrival of your cat(s), minus the deposit paid in advance of boarding.

1.  Payment can be made by cash or cheque. If paying by cheque, the outstanding balance must be settled when dropping the cat(s) off for boarding.

2.  Boarding fees are charged per day, including the day of arrival and departure.

3.  A 25% deposit of all boarding costs will be required at the time of booking.

4.  Only cats from the same household may share one lodge.

5. Door-to-door collection/delivery service is available at a charge of £3 per mile (£15 minimum charge per journey).

6. Any additional costs incurred by us, such as flea treatments etc., are payable upon collection of your cat(s)

+ What If I Have More Than One Cat To Board

+ Dropping My Cat Off - What Do I Need To Know?

1. When the booking is made, an appointment time will be agreed for drop off of your cat(s). If you are delayed or need to change the drop-off or collection time, you must do this by pre-arrangement by telephone.

2. Drop off's outside of our published opening hours will incur an additional fee which will be agreed prior to arrival.

3. Owners must produce an up-to-date vaccination certificate upon arrival at The Willows Cattery.

4. No cat suffering from or suspected of suffering from; any infectious or contagious disease will be accepted for boarding. The Willows Cattery reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health pending advice from a veterinary surgeon. Owners will appreciate that this is essential to safeguard the health and well-being of all cats boarded at The Willows Cattery.

+ Collecting My Cat - What Do I Need To Know?

1. When the booking is made, an appointment time will be agreed upon for the collection of your cat(s). If you are delayed or need to change the drop-off or collection time, you must do this by pre-arrangement by telephone

2. Collections made outside of our published hours will incur an additional fee which will be agreed prior to collection.

3. Any outstanding balance over and above the originally agreed boarding fee (for example, veterinary fees, and additional days) is payable upon collection of your cat(s). No cat will be released until the balance is settled in full. If paying by cheque, please pay in full when dropping the cat(s) off for boarding.

+ What Happens If My Cat Needs A Vet Whilst In Your Care?

1. Any veterinary fees incurred whilst in the cattery are to be paid by the client. You will be asked to sign to consent that whenever necessary, you agree to your cat(s) being examined and treated by a veterinary surgeon of the cattery’s choice. Under no circumstance will The Willows Cattery be held accountable or blamed for any actions taken on your behalf.

2. The emergency contact that you supply will, in the absence of us being able to contact you, authorise any veterinary treatment needed and will speak directly with the clinic in relation to payment and insurance policies where applicable.

3. The Willows Cattery reserve the right to charge an appropriate fee for veterinary visits with your cat.


+ What About My Cat's Vaccinations?

1. Your cat’s inoculations for Feline Infectious Enteritis and Upper Respiratory Infection (Cat Flu) must be up to date.

2. Your cat’s up-to-date vaccination certificate will need to be presented prior to boarding. Please remember that your cat cannot be boarded without it (no exception), so ensure your vaccinations are boosted annually. This is in the interest of your cat’s health and those who are staying at The Willows Cattery at the same time.

3. Where a full course of vaccinations is required, these must be completed at least 7 days before boarding

4. The annual booster vaccination should be carried out at least 7 days before boarding.


+ My Cat Is Suffering From An Infectious Disease, What Should I Do?

No cat suffering from, or suspected of suffering from, any infectious or contagious disease can be accepted for boarding. The proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health pending advice from a Veterinary Surgeon. Owners will appreciate that this is essential in order to safeguard the health of all cats boarded at The Willows Cattery.

+ Do You Have Any Special Rules For Boarding A Male Cat?

Male cats over the age of 6 months who have not been neutered will not be accepted for boarding.

+ What Is Your Pre-Arrival Policy For Flea & Worming Treatment?

1. An effective flea management programme requires treatment by a vet-recommended formula every 4-6 weeks. If your cat is not on a regular flea treatment programme, please apply a flea treatment such as Frontline just before your cat comes to board with us.

2. If your cat has not been wormed within the last three months prior to staying with us, please administer an appropriate worming treatment before boarding commences.

3. If we find that a cat boarding with us has arrived with fleas and/or worms, we will administer appropriate treatment. In the event that your cat(s) have arrived with fleas, then a full deep clean of the affected chalet will be undertaken and the appropriate treatment administered at the cost of £40, which will be added to your final invoice.


+ My Cat Is On Medication, Will You Still Board Him/Her?

1. We are happy to accommodate cats on medication. We can administer medication either orally or in food, but we are sorry to say, we do not take insulin-dependent cats.

2. We will ask for your written authority to call a veterinary surgeon on your behalf should we consider it necessary.

3. Veterinary attendance is assured, and any treatment considered advisable will be carried out at the owner’s expense. Any outstanding veterinary fees must be paid prior to collection.

4. Whilst every care and precaution is taken during boarding, responsibility can only be accepted at the owner’s risk.

We enjoy excellent transport links with Heathrow Airport and the Animal Quarantine Centre just 10 minutes away, and easy access to the M25 linking M3/M4.
